HeadChannel was set up in 2004 to realise the potential that database-driven websites could deliver. HeadChannel's directors bring together many years of experience in their several areas of expertise and continue to apply creative thinking to fresh challenges.
We are a small company and pride ourselves in the personal touch that we bring to our work. We like to build up good working relationships with our clients where they feel they are collaborating with individuals, rather than getting lost in corporate anonymity. At HeadChannel, the people you meet will be actively involved in the work we do, giving you a direct line to the creative process, whilst our skilled team provide all the support that you need.
The Directors
Andy Green
Andy is a graphic designer with over 15 years professional experience in print design, as proprietor of The Conservatory Graphic Design Consultants (www.theconservatory.co.uk), and interactive design as managing director of HeadChannel. He has extensive experience in managing large projects with many different contributors.
As design and production manager of Fresh Direction magazine for over ten years, Andy supervises provision of content for sixteen regional editions and oversees a team of freelance designers and sub-editors. He has also coordinated publications that have been produced in several countries and many different language versions.
Andy is fluent in all aspects of web design such as HTML, XML and CSS and has designed many HTML email newsletters as well as websites. He also manages HeadChannel’s hosting service and as such is experienced with dealing with all manner of hosting requirements such as liaising with ISPs, server managers and technicians.
Derek French
Derek started in the advertising business at Ted Bates where he was Media Research Manager working on accounts such as Electricity Council, Mars Confectionary, Pedigree Petfoods and Peugeot. He then moved to Yorkshire Television as Planning Manager. In 1989 he founded FCF which provides data analysis software and bespoke database solutions to a wide range of clients both within the advertising and marketing world and outside. Current clients include BBC Worldwide, COI, Starcom and Telmar.
Vince Nacey
Vince has over 15 years experience as a market researcher specialising in data processing, manipulation and reporting. Vince began his career at the Royal Institute of British Architects but quickly set up a specialist construction industry market research company where he works with contractors, architects, manufacturers, institutes and public bodies. Vince has worked with clients as diverse as BBC Worldwide, Stannah Lifts, JC Decaux, The Royal Institute of British Architects and Leo Burnett’s.
For JCDecaux, Vince manages the information gathering and analysis processing of their online questionnaires. This plays a key role in profiling their audience and allowing them to make more informed decisions about their investments.
